Carbon footprint of popcorn (!)
I have been asked to provide carbon footprint input into the food being served at a kids event - sausages, burgers, some veggy stuff etc. And one of the snacks will be popcorn.
Now then... there is not a huge amount of data available for LCAs of popcorn (or to be precise, none as far as I can see), but I wondered if anyone had knowledge of LCAs on corn itself (pre-popping)?
Grains, cereals, legumes etc have similar CFPs in general (excluding LUC complications), but I am not keen on basing an estimate on products that are in theory a bit similar.
Any thoughts? Thanks
