The Chocolate Conservatory: The Responsibility of Taste, Paris, France
The non-profit Fine Cacao and Chocolate Institute will host The Chocolate Conservatory event on 28 and 29 October 2019 in Paris. The event is for the specialty cacao-chocolate community to discuss pressing issues and collaborate on shared challenges.
This year’s theme is “The Responsibility of Taste”. Topics of discussion will include::
Are taste and sustainability linked?
Is good taste a luxury or a right?
Can bad taste be luxurious?
How can we best acknowledge the labour that underpins the production of high quality goods?
When we reward good taste, who or what do we punish?
How can we communicate about the significance of quality and ethics in a sector that has long neglected both?
