International Conference on Sustainable Energy and Resource Use in Food Chains, 19-21 April 2017 near Windsor, UK
The first International Conference on Sustainable Energy and Resource Use in Food Chains is to be held from 19th to 21st of April 2017. It is organised by the RCUK National Centre for Sustainable Energy Use in Food Food Chains (CSEF Centre) at Brunel University London, in collaboration with the University of Manchester and the University of Birmingham
The aim of the conference is to bring together scientists and engineers working in the field of energy and resource use in food chains, to report on the latest thinking, technologies, and approaches for energy demand reduction and minimisation of resource use, including water and waste. The conference will consider energy and resource use, as well as related environmental impacts, across all stages of food chains from primary production, processing, distribution, retail, consumption and waste management.
Authors are invited to submit abstracts of no more than 500 words by the 18th of December. Selected papers will be considered for publication within Elsevier high quality journals; Sustainable Production & Consumption; Energy; Thermal Science & Engineering Progress.
