Call for abstracts: Cultivate19 workshop, Oxford, UK

The organisers of the Cultivate19 workshop on cellular agriculture, which will be held on 26 November 2019 in Oxford, are inviting abstracts for presentations. Suggested themes and questions include, but are not limited to:

- technical advancements and challenges in cellular agriculture

- opportunities, challenges and insights on funding cellular agriculture in the UK

-  the social, cultural and political-economic implications for cellular agriculture in the UK

- assessing the environmental promise of cellular agriculture

- cellular agriculture and the UK/EU regulatory landscape

- cellular agriculture as opportunity for or threat to UK farming?

- cellular agriculture and antibiotic use/resistance

- what role for government and NGOs on cellular agriculture?

- cellular agriculture in the media

- cellular agriculture and Big Food: opportunities and tensions of partnering with incumbent industry

- public attitudes to cellular agriculture
