14 Jan 2018
The Global Challenges Research Fund is a 5-year £1.5 billion fund led by the UK’s Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS). They are looking for portfolio leaders to give strong, intellectual and strategic leadership for each of six ‘Challenge Portfolios’, and to strengthen coordination across multiple partners. They envisage one or two leaders for each portfolio, dependent on the breadth and scope of each portfolio and the skills and experience of individuals. They encourage proposals from individuals keen to job-share across a portfolio. The positions can be filled by academics or non-academics.
