The John Innes Centre is hiring an impact and engagement manager to work on a large, multidisciplinary project focussed on UK resilience to the bacterial plant pathogen, Xylella fastidiosa.
The role will involve working with all partners across the project, developing an open policy making framework, engaging with industry and organising workshops and events.
Candidates should be trained as a research scientist, have exceptional communication skills and have experience of synthesising scientific evidence for a range of non-scientific audiences.
