The School of Psychology at the University of Glasgow has a PhD vacancy on the topic “Using language to promote sustainable food choices”. Specifically, the project will examine how the language used on food labels affects consumers’ buying intentions for plant-based foods.

Candidates should have a good degree, preferably with social science content, have an interest in consumer psychology and sustainable behaviour, and have a good grounding in experimental research methods.
