3 Jun 2019
The Department of Management at the University of Bristol is offering PhD funding on the topic “Sustainable food platforms: A comparative analysis of food provisioning and consumption in Bristol and Oslo”.
The research project will explore changing food consumption through a focus on digitally mediated food provisioning platforms. It also involves comparison between commercial and cooperative modes of food provisioning. The former might include supermarket, box schemes or take-away services (such as Uber eats) while the latter could examine solidarity purchasing groups, food banks or urban gardening initiatives.
